Q. Can I come and collect an item from you?
A. No sorry, all our items for sale on our marketplace channels are only offered for delivery only, collection is not possible. The majority of our items offered for sale are delivered from our suppliers to you directly, or are ordered specially for dispatch ourselves.
Q. Can I pay over the phone?
A. Sorry, but we do not have the facility to take any credit/debit card payments over the phone.
Q. I don’t have a PayPal account, can I still purchase an item from you?
A. We can only accept payments through PayPal if you are purchasing through eBay, OnBuy or our own webstore. However it is possible for you to complete checkout on eBay and pay for your item using a credit/debit card through PayPal as a ‘guest’. If you are planning on using eBay to purchase items regularly, we would strongly recommend that you set up a PayPal account, it makes the whole process much more streamlined, plus there are numerous other websites where you can pay with PayPal making purchasing much simpler.
Q. Can I get a better price if I purchase outside of eBay?
A. If you’re looking to buy a significant quantity of a particular product, we may be able to help you out, but we can still only accept payment through PayPal, please use the Contact Us form for such enquiries. As we operate very leanly on slim profit margins, if you’re looking for a better price for a ‘one-off’ purchase, sorry but the price shown on eBay will be the best we offer and there will be no negotiating. You could of course have a look on our ARKS Global Shop webstore, where our price will be cheaper than on Amazon or eBay.
Q. I’m interested in one of your car parts, will it fit my vehicle?
To avoid any hassles, it is imperative that you contact us BEFORE you purchase to confirm that any vehicle part will be correct for your car. Once you click Buy It Now and pay for your item, our automated systems pass order details to our suppliers to process and dispatch, so it becomes difficult for us to cancel orders if the part ordered turns out to be incorrect.
Before commiting to buy, your best bet is to click the Contact Seller link on any of our listings (in the Seller Information box), this will allow you to send us a message regarding that particular listing. Provide your vehicle registration, if your vehicle is UK-registered, or as much information about your vehicle as you know (make, model, engine size, fuel type, body type, model year etc). We will try and respond to you as soon as possible.
Q. Do you ship to my country and how much does it cost?
If you’ve found our item on eBay, please check the Postage & Payments tab on the listing, for all available shipping destinations and costs. If your country is not shown there, then it is probably not possible to offer that item to your destination, sorry.
For Amazon items, we only ship to that marketplace’s country, ie Amazon France we only ship to France.
Q. Can I have my item delivered to a different address?
Certainly yes, on all our marketplace platforms you are presented with the opportunity to specify a different delivery address at the checkout page. For seller protection reasons, we will only ship orders to the delivery address provided at checkout, it is not possible to amend the delivery address once the order has been placed and confirmed.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure a valid delivery address is provided at checkout, as we cannot be held responsible for delayed or failed deliveries, due to an invalid or incomplete address being provided.
Q. Your eBay listing advertises Free Delivery, but I’m being charged for shipping at checkout?
Free shipping is only available within the UK, we do not offer any free international shipping, sorry.
For our UK customers, free delivery is available on all items sent via Royal Mail. For larger, more expensive items, over 2kg, that have to be sent via courier, free delivery is only available to addresses on the UK mainland, delivery charges will apply for addresses in remote or offshore locations (eg Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands/Islands), sorry but this is due to surcharges imposed on us by our delivery couriers.
Q. Can you declare a different amount for me?
As we are a UK based company, and the UK is still presently a member of the EU, for deliveries to destinations outside the EU, we are legally obligated to attach a CN22 or CN23 customs declaration document, and to declare the full value of, as well as the nature of, the goods being exported.
We’re very sorry, but in order to comply with our own customs regulations, we will not declare any false information. It is the buyers responsibility to pay any taxes or fees incurred by their own customs agencies.
However, if specifically requested to, we can declare an item as a ‘gift’ on the CN22/CN23 form.
Q. I have received an item that is damaged or is incorrect
While we make efforts to ensure that the item you order is received in good condition and to your satisfaction, unfortunately some packages do get damaged in transit, or mistakes occur and the wrong item is sent.
In either situation, we ask that you contact us immediately and provide a photo to show any damage or evidence the wrong item has been sent. If you have purchased through our marketplace channels, please use the Contact Seller links there to get in touch so we can resolve the matter for you. For eBay purchases, please do not request a Return at this stage, unless you are looking to receive a full refund rather than a replacement.
