Customs/Duties – can you declare a different amount for me?

Sorry, but as a responsible exporter, and due to automated shipping label creation processes, we will always declare the full amount and nature of goods being exported from the UK.

For all exports from the UK, it is the buyers responsibility to pay any import taxes/duties owing either prior to or on delivery of goods.

Please note that in many countries around the world, false declaration of imports to avoid paying tax is considered a criminal offence, so this policy is just as much for your own protection.

Buyers in the EU

Since January 2021, the UK is no longer a member of the European Union (EU), thus purchases from the UK will be subject to payment of VAT upon import. From July 2021, for purchases less than 150 euros, marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon will apply and collect the required VAT payment from you at the point of purchase.

However for purchases above this amount, this will not be the case, and import VAT will need to be paid to the delivery company prior to delivery.
